This product is No Longer Available.

M&S no longer manufacturers the MC602.  You can replace only the master station by using the M&S DMC3-4 master, DMC1H housing, and DMCFM frame (so there is no drywall patch or repair).

The other option is to replace the entire MC602 system with a DMC3-4 retrofit kit, or an Intrasonic RETRO kit.

Questions and Answers for M&SMC602 Series Master Station

  • Q:

I have a MC602 and I need the door bell and two stations, is there anything that will work for this?

    A:

For the MC602 the DS3B or other available color options will work for a door station.  The room station that can be used would be the DMC4RS and DMCFR update frame so there is no drywall patching required.

  • Q:

Good afternoon! I'm looking to replace my MC 602 master station (it's broken). I have an existing systems (stations) with wires already in place leading to the master station. When replacing the master station (from 602 to DMC3-4), how straight forward is the wiring? I this a simple task (for someone who's reasonably handy) or do I need to hire someone?

    A:

It is reasonable for someone who is handy.  The wiring is very similar to the MC602.  All White, Red and Black wires are bundled together to a termination area, and all greens are separated on their own terminals.  Please feel free to look at our document tab under the DMC3-4 system.

  • Q:

I currently have the MC602 and the main unit is no longer working; what exactly would I need to purchase to replace only the main unit?

    A:

M&S no longer manufacturers the MC602.  You can replace only the master station by using the M&S DMC3-4 master, DMC1H housing, and DMCFM frame (so there is no drywall patch or repair).  The other option is to replace the entire MC602 system with a DMC3-4 retrofit kit, or an Intrasonic RETRO kit.

  • Q:

I have a ms602 systems talk patio station and the door bell does not work , what do I need in order to get this system working again. Will the dmc3-4 work as a replacement

    A:

It depends on what the underlying issue is.  If the master unit works and only the doorbell is not working, you may only need to replace the door station.  If you have talk/listen displaying on the master, a bad room station could be locking the system up.  It would be best to call in to explain your issues and we can see what parts you may need to replace.

  • Q:

How do I remove the face panel on M& S M602 master system unit without breaking face panel?

    A:

The front face panel should pull forward.  It will then expose screws to remove the master from the wall.

  • Q:

I'd like to replace the face panel of a M&S master. I can't tell if it's a MC602, 702 or 902, however, that might not matter since the face plates look similar. Where can I get a replacement face panel?

    A:

MC602's are only available as a replacement.  If you are looking for just the cover, they are not made.  You would have to update the entire unit.  If you replace the MCC602, you would need the DMC3-4 Master and the DMCFM frame.

  • Q:

I have a MC 602 that was working fine in April, came back last week and doesn’t worked. Could it be a fuse?

    A:

If there is no display, it could be a fuse or transformer.  If there is a display, and it is stuck on talk/list or some other issue, it is likely a bad room station.
