The DMC1H Wall Housing Kit provides the following components necessary to rough-in a DMC1 or DMC3-4 Intercom System:

  • (1) Metal wall housing
  • (1) FM Dipole Antenna
  • (1) Ferrite filter
  • (4) 1 1/2" snap-in bushings
  • (1) TE5D Transformer Assembly
  • 75 feet of MS4DCXSC Shielded Speaker Cable
  • 25 feet of AM antenna wire

    When installing this housing, it’s advised to place the bottom edge of the housing 59” above the floor. What is the reason for that?

    A:

    This is a general guideline that positions the master unit at eye level for the average person.  You can put it at any height that you want.

The housing is too small considering the wiring that has to be "stuffed" back in before closure of the master unit.
