  I am looking inot replacing my old M&S system. There are 10 room stations, 2 door stations, and 1 patio station. I like to add door release option and a video doorbell system. What's the best way to replace entire system? I have an electric Rion who will help instalation. Thank you.

  A:

  The Intrasonic RETRO system is a great replacement system for your current M&S System.  The current wiring in place does not allow to add video with the current intercom and music capabilities.  An electrician can be helpful in the replacement process and we can provide you a detailed quote if you would like to call in.  We will need a few more details on the current sizes of intercoms that are in place both inside and out.

  I just bought a house built in late 60's it has a Rittenhouse RM20/RM22 that doesn't work. Can it be directly replaced with this one.

  A:

  The Rittenhouse brands did not always have an installation technique to match them up to the current models.  For the old rittenhouse brands, it is best to call in to discuss at 800-533-3249.  Please be sure the dimensions and quantities of each device.  Please count the number/conductor wire that is going from each room station to the master station.  If you are able to pull a room station off of the wall, that can be easiest.

  Good afternoon, I was wondering if the intercom can go out side like near the pool?

  A:

  This package does not include an exterior intercom station.  The patio station that is needed for use near an outside pool is available separately.  Note that either a retrofit frame or surface mount box will also be required.

  You can get the equipment in Black.  You will need phone us so that we can make the adjustment.

  Do the room stations come in ivory?

  A:

  There are choices of white, black, and almond.  If you click a room station, you can flip through colors to choose.  If you need custom colors, we can adjust to the preference.

  I have an old DMC one master station with the CD player that goes underneath the master station. Does your cover plate fit the entire wall opening left by the DMC-1, or just the area behind the master station?

  How much are additional speakers

  For the speaker and the standard size frame, each interior location increases the cost $101.26.  If larger frames or patios are required, the cost is higher.

  Are these any better than the M&S systems? I've gone through three master stations and they keep going out after a year or two.

  A:

  They have a much higher reliability then M&S.  They are also still being made whereas the M&S is no longer being made or supported.
