This Sumo style 050710 genuine Beam low voltage hose is crushproof.  It is a soft, non-kink hose with a square shaped neck.  The On/Off switch controls the power to the central vacuum and is conveniently located in the handle.  

The Sumo style hose is not meant to work with electric power heads.  It is proprietary and will only work with other beam products.  It is available in a 30 Ft length.
