The 2G Analog Passive Hose Low Volt 30 Ft is a proprietary central vacuum hose with variable speed.  It features a gas pump style handle with variable speed slider switch for control suction and power unit. Variable speed slider switch works only with Beam Alliance units.  It functions as on/off switch for other models.

The 2G low voltage hose has a square end that is only compatible with wands and tools with comparable shape. This crushproof hose is available in 30 and 35 foot lengths.

    Will this work on Q100 suction/beater heads (three-way switch).

    A:

    This  low voltage hose will not work with your Q100 powerhead.  You need the 050931 2G Electric Hose.  Note that this hose comes in 30 and 35 foot lengths and either pigtail or direct connect ends.
