The DMC1 Complete Intercom Kit includes everything except CAT5 wire for easy installation. The CAT5 wire must be purchased separately.

    What is the installation process?

    A:

    Next to the product information tab, there is a tab that says documents.  Under this tab there are rough-in instructions.  This gives all information regarding installation before drywall.  There is then instructions that show trim out instructions for when all remaining components can be installed.

    Does this unit have a port for digital connection (ipod or android ) Or other digital music source.

    A:

    This system does not come with a port for a digital device, but we can add one if requested.  If this is a new construction installation, please also review the Intrasonic I2000M which has a built in iPod/MP3 player for the master as well as each room station.

    Does the system come with a CD player? I have a a M&S system model MC602 that suddenly stopped working can it be repaired if so can you recommend a company to repair it?

    A:

    If you want to replace a MC602, you want to use a DMC3-4 model master station with a DMCMP3 CD player.  If you decide to replace the system you will also need a DMCFC frame and a DMC1HC housing.  All existing room, patio, and door stations will work with the old system.
