The Intrasonic I2000M Master Station is the main interface that controls the music and intercom functions of the music distribution and intercom system. 

This Master Station features:

  • A built-in AM/FM Radio with 10 preset options.
  • A portable music player bay to plug in and play portable music devices.
  • Bluetooth-enabled input by using the blue tooth receiever.
  • A USB port to charge MP3 devices as they play.
  • A choice of 3 music source options in every room, so you can play different sources in each room.
  • Hands-free communication for the person receiving the call.
  • Hands-free door communication
  • Independent volume controls for the intercom and music functions.
  • This unit monitors single or multiple zones.
  • Expansion of up to 20 zones.  This includes door stations, room stations, patio stations, and an auxiliary input.  
The Intrasonic Master Station has the option of being operated by the IREMOTE control.

    we recently purchased a home that has a nutone radio/intercom system model IM-3303 series. I need your advice for the comparable replacement system. Also if I replace the main station, do I need to replace all the other stations in the house? Thanks for your time :)

    A:

    No matter which system that you decide to replace your Nutone IM-3303 series intercom with, you will be required to change all room stations, door stations, patio stations, etc. except for all wiring.  Please see a link to our replacement systems portion of our web site.

    Can I replace a Nutone 3003 w the 1200M or only the RetroM?

    A:

    Only the RETRO system can be used to update the Nutone 3003, or IM-3003.  The entire system needs to be replace except the wiring.  We have a base kit that includes 4 rooms, 1 door, 1 master, and trim plates.  If you need more, or need to have it customized, call in and we can help.  800-533-3249

    Yes, the I2000 Master can work with the I1000 Rooms, Doors, and Patio units.

    I bought 3 instasonic retro room station. Can I used 1200m master station to this?? My old one not work with retro room station.

    A:

    The RETRO-M Master is required with the RETRO-5R Room stations.  The I2000M Master works with I2000R Room stations or I1000M stations.

    I have an audiotech model 260 intercom system that stopped working. Is there a compatible replacement unit?

    A:

    For the AudioTech systems, you are required to do a full system replacement.  you can use the existing wiring, but you have to update the master, rooms, doors, patio, etc.  There are trim plates so there is no drywall repair.  Please see the M&S replacement kit similar to Audiotech.  If you are interested further, please call in to discuss and we can go over.
