The CX1000 Cordless Power Head is used with a non-electric central vacuum hose to clean carpet and rugs. It works with a Hide-A-Hose system as well as a traditional central vacuum system hose. The battery pack is built into the included wand which accepts a standard button-lock hose handle.
The CX1000 has a roller brush that is turned by a DC motor in the nozzle. A suction fan also spins, providing suction power which aids in lifting debris from carpet. Soft rubber wheels and squeegee strip make the CS1000 effective and safe for all surfaces. A protective bumper safeguards the nozzle against furniture and walls. The bright LED light illuminates the cleaning path. At a lightweight 11 pounds, it is easy to transport throughout the house.
The power source for this cordless powerhead is a 44 volt lithium ion battery that runs for 60 minutes. The included charger plugs into a standard electric outlet and fully charges the battery in two hours. When the battery is fully charged, 4 green lights and 1 red light will show on the battery life display. As the battery discharges, the number of green lights will decrease from 4 to 0, at which time the unit will run for a brief time, then stop.
The CX1000 is backed by a 4-year warranty on the vacuum and 2-year warranty on the battery. It is available in white under the Hide-Hose brand name and black under the Volt brand name. The CX1000 is made in the USA with globally sourced components.
