This cordless vacuum is powered by the Dyson digital V8 motor that creates the most powerful cordless vacuum. 15 cyclones arranged across two tiers create a whole machine HEPA filtration system that makes the air that leaves the machine cleaner than the air you breathe because it removes 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns.
The direct-drive cleaner head's edge-to-edge bristles penetrate deep into carpet to remove ground in dirt and provide full width cleaning. The soft roller cleaner head is designed for hard floors, with stiff nylon bristles and carbon fiber filaments, it removes large debris and fine dust simultaneously from your hard floors.
A new Lithium-ion battery that delivers up to 40 minutes of fade free suction (or up to 25 minutes when used with the motorized floor tool attached) powers the Dyson V8 Absolute. The run-time enhancing trigger grip releases instantly, so the battery power is only used for vacuuming; therefore, it's on when you need it and off when you don't. There is a max power mode slide switch that provides up to 7 minutes of higher suction for those tougher tasks.
For quick clean ups, spot cleaning and cleaning difficult places, the Dyson V8 Absolute converts to a hand-held. It's always ready to go when you store and charge the vacuum on the docking station. In a single action, the hygienic dirt ejector removes dust and debris from the bin.
