This central vacuum unit utilizes HEPA filtration. HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) aids in the removal of tiny. lung-damaging particles (such as dust mites and pollen) that are released back into the air. The HEPA filter works in conjunction with an inner lining of the bag. The purpose of the lining is to filter debris by acting as an electrostatic barrier. The liner also lengthens the life of the bag by strengthening the bag and making it resistant to bursting.
