The Broan S99010172 Filter Bag is no longer available. There are no replacements.
The S99010172 is a replacement filter bag for the Broan CV20 and CV30 models and the Nutone CV554 and CV556 models. It is the same as the Nutone part S0647B000 which is no longer available.
The S99010172 filter has a sand bag in the bottom that causes the filter to drop down when the vacuum unit is turned off, helping debris to fall off and into the dirt can. After a number of years, the pores in the filter will be clogged with fine dirt, hindering air flow and cleaning. Replacement of the filter will solve this problem.
