The Vacu-Maid S2400 Cyclonic Central Vacuum Power Unit is recommended for large homes. This unit is a pure cyclonic design. The cyclonic action allows large, heavy particles to fall into a dirt canister. Small particles stay in the air stream and are exhausted outside. Without the restrictions of a dirty cloth, paper or foam filter, vacuum power is able to be more consistent at the end of the hose for full sustained cleaning. The power unit is foam-lined, which also helps reduce motor noise. The patented Air Channel allows the use of plastic liners in the dirt canister to make emptying more efficient.
The Vacu-Maid Silent Partner S2400 Central Vacuum Power Unit is constructed of galvanealled steel with a special powder coating for long-lasting durability and rust resistance. This unit also includes a muffler for quiet operation.
The motor contain brush interrupters. These stop the motor near the end of brush life so they can be replaced prior to any type of motor damage.
