The DMC3-4 Complete Retrofit Intercom Kit with CD/MP3 Player is designed to replace older intercom systems that use 3-wire or 4-wire connections to the room stations. When installing a DMC3-4 Retrofit System, the existing wiring may be used. However, if the master is replaced, all other components except M&S music and door speakers must also be replaced. (The exceptions are M&S MC302 and MC602 systems without CD or cassette players. Only the master and update frame have to be purchased when replacing these models.)
Features of the DMC3-4 Music Distribution and Intercom System include:
- A built-in AM/FM radio with 8 AM and 8 FM preset options.
- Two music source inputs A full clock radio function that supports waking up or falling asleep to music.
- Remote volume and source control from room stations.
- The ability to monitor rooms (great for children and the elderly).
- Privacy, intercom only and door release functions.
- 30 watts of power drives up to 15 room stations and 3 door speakers.
- Programmable monitor override.
- Automatic on/off feature
- Optional three-note and eight-note door chime.
Features of the DMCMP3 Player include:
- Compatibility with portable music devices including Apple iPods and iPhones, MP3 players and smart phones.
- A 3.5mm jack on the side of a slide-out tray to plug in iPods, iPhones and MP3 players.
- A single-disk CD player that plays CD/CD-R/CD-RW and MP3 discs.
- A USB port on the side of the slide-out tray to charge your portable music devices.
