The NuTone VX550C Complete Central Vacuum Kit is recommended for large homes up to 8,000 square feet. The materials included in this package cover the installation of 6 inlets.
The power unit included in this package is bagless with cyclonic filtration. The power unit also features a HEPA (High Efficiency Particle Air) filter that has anti-microbial protection and anti-stick technology to trap dust and bacteria. The dirt bucket has a capacity of 7 gallons.
The powerhead included in this package is a Wessel-Werk EBK360. This electric powerhead features 5-position height adjustment, large edge cleaning channels, an airflow squeegee, and a Chevron bristle design, making this perfect for cleaning both smooth and carpeted floors.
The NuTone VX550C Complete Central Vacuum Kit provides you with an electric direct connect hose and electric inlets. Low voltage wiring is used to turn the central vacuum unit on and off. Romex is used to connect the high voltage leads from the vacuum inlets to the nearest electric outlet (romex is not included). A direct connect hose with prongs has a switch that controls both the vacuum unit and powerhead.
