The VacPan Automatic Dustpan functions as a dust pan for rooms with smooth floors. This automatic dustpan is installed in the toe kick of a cabinet or baseboard. The central vacuum system is turned on by flipping a lever on the automatic dustpan unit. This creates air flow that sucks dirt in front of the VacPan down to the vacuum unit.  

The VacPan Automatic Duspan can be used with QuickTrim for a more attractive installation.  Available in white, black or almond to complement any decor.

    Is this compatible with vacuflo 460 model?

    A:

    Yes, this should be compatible with a Vacuflo 460.  It works base off of 2"OD central vacuum tubing and fittings.  If you Vacuflo is older then 30 years, you may need pipe adapters.

    Will I be able to remove the close 90 degree elbow and reuse it on the new vac pan, or is it glued in and will require a new close 90 degree elbow?

    A:

    It depends on the previous installer.  It is proper practice to not glue the elbow onto the pan, but people do do it sometimes
