The Vaculine Plaster Guard attaches to the central vacuum inlet backplate. It protects the backplate and piping system against dirt and debris during construction.  It can be used on any universal inlet.  It is preferred over the Plastiflex Plaster Guard (sku 13216) because it protrudes about 1/2", making it difficult for the sheetrock to cover the inlet.
