The Inlet Valve Extender is used to extend the space between the inlet face plate and the mounting bracket. Each extension allows for about 3/4" additional spacing and extensions can be stacked if necessary.  This is helpful when inlets are installed in baseboards, double layers of sheet rock, or other deep surfaces.  Durable molded plastic construction.
