This Hose Sock is constructed of a durable quilted fabric. The zipper makes it a snap to install on your hose and easy to remove for machine washing. This hose sock can be installed on any brand central vacuum hose.

Most vacuum hoses are made of a molded plastic material that is ribbed on the outside.  The quilting provides a soft barrier between the central vacuum hose and the object being cleaned, protecting it from scratches and scuff marks.  The quilted hose sock will also prevent the central vacuum hose from damaging molding, walls, baseboards and furniture as it is pulled around corners, down hallways and stairs.

    How does the cover fit over the hose without extending over each end? Is the Velcro flap supposed to double back or what? It is about 6" too long for the Beam 30' hose. Thanks

    A:

    Sometimes the hose socks are a little long.  Over the years hoses have been cut at 30', 31', 32'.  There can generally be some slack that you can pull back on the middle of the hose so that the hose can be tied off on the ribbed portion.
