This low voltage hose is crushproof for long-lasting durability. The on/off switch is conveniently located in the gas pump swivel handle and controls the power to the central vacuum unit. This hose features a button lock and bleeder hole valve.  This hose fits all standard 1 1/2" inlets with on/off capabilities.

The swivel collar at the inlet connection prevents the hose from kinking during use, maintaining constant air flow. Low-voltage hoses include two-wire conductors that carry the signal to activate the central vacuum unit when the switch on the handle is engaged, eliminating the need to walk to the power unit to turn it on or off.

    will this nose fit my kenmore central vac model #S10734430 this unit is approx 17 years old

    A:

    Kenmore central vac hoses can be proprietary.  Some of the central vac inlets are on 1 1/4" diameter and others are 1 1/2".  If they are 1 1/4", an adapter will be required.  If it is 1 1/2" and you want to use your existing powerhead, etc. you may need a wand adapter and cord.  Please call in to discuss.  800-848-4018.

    It should fit your inlet.  It may be tight at first but it will fit.  This is a low coltage hose desinged for suction only.

    This will work with most 1 1/2" inlets.  This hose does not work with electric hoses or powerheads.

    It can, but it only provides on/off suction.  There is no electric in the hose for an electric powerhead for carpets.
