The Cen-Tec 30 ft low voltage hose is crushproof for long-lasting durability. This design allows for excellent flexibility and better performance by preventing kinks and offering a strong suction ability. The on/off switch is conveniently located on the soft, pistol grip handle. This Hose features a chrome button lock stub tube to connect a wand to the central vacuum hose.  It fits most central vacuum inlets except Nutone, Vacuflo, Kenmore and Budd.

    Does this have a recessed plug in?

    A:

    This hose is low voltage and therefore does not have an electrical receptacle for a power head cord.  If you need a hose with a recessed electrical receptacle, choose either the 12059 that has a pigtail inlet connection or the 12058 that has the direct connect inlet connection.

    is this hose equal to the VacuMaid GSH-230S low voltage swivel hose with stainless steel stub wand?

    Both hoses are a universal fit and work the same.  The only difference is in the handle type.
