The Beam Q200 powerhead is the best quality electric nozzle offered by Beam. The "Q" stands for Quiet! This powerhead is not universal. It has a square neck that works only with the Beam 050931 Beam 2G Electric Hose. It is not a direct replacement of the Q100 powerhead and is not compatible with the 050814 Ultra hose.
A 3-position carpet height adjustment allows the powerhead to provide maximum cleaning efficiency on many carpet styles whether the carpet height is lower or higher. The indicator lights on the powerhead show what height level it is operating at. The swivel neck allows the powerhead to be maneuvered easily into tight areas while the LED headlight illuminates the cleaning path. The quick release neck facilitates removal of the wand when a floor brush or other attachment will be used. When the handle release pedal is stepped on it releases the handle and wand from the upright position while vacuuming and locks them back into place when returned to the upright position.
The Beam Q200 features a Poly V5 powerhead belt that will not stretch or slip. This durable belt rarely needs to be replaced. When a rug fringe or object jams the brushroll, the powerhead shuts off automatically to protect the motor. The circuit breaker indicator light glows red to show when there is problem. Clearing the obstruction and resetting the circuit breaker by turning the switch on the hose handle off and then on restarts the motor.
The 155278 adjustable wand that works with this powerhead must be purchased separately.
