The NuTone PurePower Hybrid PP6501 central vacuum unit offers a peaceful yet powerful cleaning of your home. With a motor that delivers 650 air watts or PurePower this unit give you a deep cleaning of you carpet. 

Built with a rigid sleek structure and multi directional vacuum inlet, the PP6501 is perfect for homes 2,000 to 7,000 square feet. Sealed HEPA filter with glued seams captures 99.97% of dust and allergen micro particles in the air.  Large built in ergonomic latches makes emptying the corrosion resistant debris pail, typically only every 6 months, easy and convenient.  If you run out of vacuum bags simply switch to bagless, the convenience of a hybrid system.

The PP6501 comes with anti-vibration mounts and a sound rating of 64db. This unit is listed as one of the quietest in the industry and is virtually silent if installed in a basement or garage. 8 year parts, 5 year labor warranty.

    Hello. I need to replace a 15 year old Vx550 power unit. Is the Pp6501 a fully compatible replacement unit? Is there an outside exhaust option as my Vx550 has this option. Thank you for your help.

    A:

    The PP6501 have very small motors built in to them (5.1").  We suggest different options depending on square footage.  1,500-3,000 you can use the Valet AT-120.  For over 3,000, you can use the ATQ-300.  Both are American maid units in Oklahoma produced by Lindsay Manufacturing/VacuMaid.

    We presently have a Nutone CV 353W system that is way underpowered for our 5K sf home. Low suction is the problem. Is the PP6501 a suitable replacement for us? Will my present piping solution work?

    A:

    The CV353W has a larger motor then the PP6501.  Replacing the unit will not help with suction issues.  It is likely some other issue.  If you want a vacuum with a larger motor, use a Valet ATQ-300.  If you call in the order, we can provide a replacement pipe kit for any finagling that you have to do with the piping.
