The NuTone PurePower PP5501 central vacuum unit offers a peaceful yet powerful cleaning of your home. With a motor that delivers 550 air watts or PurePower this unit give you a deep cleaning of you carpet. 

Built with a rigid sleek structure and multi directional vacuum inlet, the PP5501 is perfect for small spaces like condominiums or apartments. Ideal for homes 1,000 to 4,000 square feet.  Sealed HEPA filter with glued seams captures 99.97% of dust and allergen micro particles in the air.  Large built in ergonomic latches makes emptying the debris pail, typically only every 6 months, easy and convenient.

    I have a NuTone Model 350. Can I use this model to replace it on the wall or do I need to do some modifications first?

    I have a Nutone CV352. Can I replace it with a Nutone PP5501?

    Yes the PP5501 is the appropriate replacement for the CV352.

    I have a cv-353 can I replace it with the Pp5501 unit. I have had this vacuum for 29 years. Just not working like it use too.

    A:

    The PP5501 can replace the 353 series.  Some piping would need to be finagled some.  We can send a section of pipe and fittings with the unit when we sell it.  If the vacuum is running, they typically run at 100% or 0%.  If suction is low, there could be a filter that needs changing, clog, etc.  The 5501 units have much smaller motors then the 353.  If you are interested in an update, please call us for more information 800-533-3249

    Looking for a unit in 550 range that is quiet and requires no bags, only tub with latches and of course free delivery. Thank you!

    This unit only takes bags.  All of our central vacuum units are free delivery.  The cheapest bagless unit we have is a Valet ATQ-180 which is a fantastic American built unit.  The other bagless option is a Nutone PP6501 unit.
