This Dust Care electric powerhead contains a built-in full width headlight, making cleaning in low light easy. The self-adjusting design allows for automatic height adjustment according to carpet thickness. A transparent window allows the user to view the agitator brush while in motion. The on/off switch is conveniently located right on the powerhead.

The DustCare Electric Powerhead features replaceable brush strips, lengthening the life of the powerhead unit. There are no wands included with this powerhead.

    Hi, I bought a home with a nutone central vacuum but the power head does not work. It's an older version (model 398ng). Is there a power head I can purchase that will fit? Thanks for any help you can provide.

    A:

    The 398 Nutone powerhead has a male 2 prong electric connection very similar to a lamp.  The new powerheads all have a circular 2 prong connection that is not compatible with the hose that works with the 398.  In order to get a new powerhead, a new hose kit would be required.  A really nice hose kit that has a Wessel Werk EBK360 powerhead is our Gold Electric Accessory Kit.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to give us a call.

    Does this power head work with CT600 central Vacuum

    A:

    The product sku 12115 is not a replacement for the CT600.  The direct replacement is product sku 12129.
