The Wessel-Werk EBK360 Soft Clean is a durable electric powerhead that is specifically designed for Ultra Soft carpet like the Mohawk's SmartStrand Silk and Caress by Shaw.  For more information on this type of carpet, see our article on Power Head Solutions for Ultra Soft Carpets.

The EBK360 Soft Clean has air channels on the front of the powerhead that allow air to pass between the nozzle and the carpet, allowing it to be pushed easily.  It features a double swivel neck to permit easy steering and flexibility. The four soft, rubber wheels aid in maneuverability.  The EBK360 powerbrush contains a glass-fiber reinforced, cogged tool belt for long life. The belt is side mounted and enclosed. The purpose of this is to protect the belt from any objects that may damage the belt during use.

The Double-V-shaped Chevron bristles on the roller brush guide debris to the central vacuum's suction and assures constant contact with the cleaning surface. The LED headlight burns brighter and longer while using less energy. This makes vacuuming in low light easy. 

This powerhead features large edge cleaning channels, allowing the user to vacuum close to baseboards and furniture. The large intake opening ensures less clogging. For a deeper and more convenient cleaning experience, a 5-position height adjustment allows the user to change the height of the powerhead according to the depth of the cleaning surface.

The EBK360 Powerbrush has quick disconnect wand capability. The quick disconnect wand is available separately.

    My current powerhead is an Air Vac EBK340L. Will the Universal EBK360 Soft Clean Wessel-Werk Electric Powerhead work with my current wand or do I need a different wand. If so, which wand would you suggest? I have new Shaw Caress carpets and my current powerhead is very difficult to move across the carpet.

    Will this work with my Vacuflo 560 central vac system? We just installed the soft strand carpet and the turbocat head will not work for the carpet. Thank you,

    This item will work with the Vacuflo series, but really depends on your type of inlets.  Vacuflo inlets can sometimes be propietary and will not accept a universal style hose.  If you would like, please send a text picture of the inlet to 443-903-2225 (please provide a reply number) or call us a 800-533-3249 and we can go over the inlet type by asking a few questions.

    Is this head compatible with a NuTone model 599 system ?

    A:

    This powerhead is not compatible with the Nutone 599 hose or wand.  If you need a soft carpet head, you will need to replace the entire hose/kit.  Please see the Soft Carpet Accessory Kit that we sell.

    Will this replace a Beam Solaire or is a new wand required?

    Most Beam Solaire's have an oval/square neck.  If this is the case, you are required to update the entire kit.  If you have a round neck,wand, please call in to discuss options.

    Will this replace the Honeywell HL102A power head? Mine broke last week and I need a replacement head. Thanks!

    A:

    This will not work with the HL102A/hose.  The Honeywell had a proprietary neck that was on oval shape.  These have all since been discontinued.  If you would like the soft clean powerhead, please check the 30' Gold Ultra Soft Kit You can then choose the option of the wall end as pigtail or direct connect based upon your inlet.  In the future, both the head and hose are universal, so you will not be stuck like this again.

    Will this connect to the Beam wand that is currently connecting to my Beam Q100 power head?

    This will not work.  The only way to use this powerhead would be to get a universal hose and wand.  The best thing to do is to get a Universal Soft Clean Kit which is a new hose, wand, powerhead, and other attachments.
