  I have a 30 year old Nutone intercom unit in my house. Can this unit be replaced with a new unit (and three room speakers) without having to rewire?

  Yes.  To provide you with a list of items that you need and a quote, I need either the model number of the master or the number of wires in the cable that are connected to the back of the speaker, plus the height and width of the master and speakers.

  What other model is equivalent to the MS #DMC3-4?

  The NM100, and Intrasonic RETRO system are the equivalents.  For the wiring used with the DMC3-4 system.

  Do you have repair parts for an IM-4006 Series home intercom?

  A:

  Need replacement for nutone model number IMA-4406.

  A:

  The NM200 system will work in replacing the Nutone IM4406 system.  You will need to replace the inside room stations, patio stations, and door stations as well.  You can find the replacement kits here.  Other models that can be used are the M&S DMC1, and Intrasonic RETRO system.

  What kind of doorbell systems are being used in new houses As I am interested in replacing my system

  The new intercom systems work that same way as the old systems do.  There is a door station with a doorbell that connects to a chime module at the master station.  This allows the doorbell to ring throughout the entire system.

  Does NU Tone make any master retrofit stations in black? I have a Nu Tone now about 25 years old.

  A:

  Nutone does not offer any retro-fit systems in black.  Only Intrasonic and M&S offer retrofit system in black.  These units can update old Nutone intercom systems.  The correct replacement models can vary based upon the current system that is installed.  We would be happy to help with replacement options if you would like to call in to discuss.  800-533-3249.

  I have a nutone im-3303 model. I would like to upgrade tuner and not speakers...is that possible with this newr version. I would like to use...smartphone and bluetooth?

  A:

  When updating the IM-3303, all room, door, and patio station will need to be changed as well.  We sell basic kits for upgrading that can be customized as needed.  If you want the ability to add bluetooth and have a smartphone hook-up, please view the Intrasonic RETRO system.

  I have a Nutone scovill 3003 series master intercom that I want to update. what newer version is equivalent and compatible with the old room speakers? Thank you

  There are no systems compatible with you old room stations.  The Intrasonic RETRO system is our recommended replacement.  It can be customized if this does not fit your needs.
