The Volume Control is compatible with the Intrasonic I2000 Intercom and Music Distribution System and I1000 sytsem. The I2000VC is used to control music and voice volume through ceiling and wall speakers. It allows you to select different sources to play music through separate from other stations in the house (AM, FM, AUX input). Requires decora style trim plate (not included). It mounts in a single-gang J-box (not included).
Intercom volume controls allow occupants in each room to independently set the listening volume of music and intercom audio to a comfortable level without affecting the volume settings in other rooms. Proper volume control installation requires matching the impedance rating of the control to the speaker load in the circuit.
