The Sweep 'N Groom Electric Powerhead has a self-adjusting design that allows the powerhead to automatically adjust for height according to carpet thickness.  The E1386K features a steel roller brush with sealed, isolated bearings and replaceable brush strips that make the powerhead more durable and longer lasting.  A transparent window on the side allows the user to easily view belt condition.  Large plastic wheels help it to glide easily over carpet.

Similar versions of this powerhead were used by many companies such as Beam, Nutone, Electrolux, and others.  This version has no light.

    What type wand connection does this E1386K have. My wand has a retractable round pin that pops up into a hole in the powerhead connector

    The cord is rectangle shape with two edges cut at a 45 degree angle.  The cord is a 2 pin connection.

    Dust Care units do not always require a specific type of powerhead.  If you old one looks like this, then likely it will work.  If it looks different, then send a picture of the head to [email protected] and we can recommend something based off of the picture.

    I have an older Broan system. What is the diameter of the connection point for the wand?

    The size should be similar.  Broan was pretty universal.  It is a 1 1/4" diameter hole what accepts a 1 1/8 to 1 1/4" wand.
