The Digital MP3 and CD Player is a combination CD player and docking station for portable music devices. It is compatible with DMC1 and DMC3-4 Masters and is installed in a DMC1HC Housing.

The M&S DMCMP3 includes a single-disk CD player. IPods and IPhones dock on a slide-out tray. Other MP3 brands connect with a short cable that is plugged into a 3.5mm jack located on the side of the slide-out tray. A USB port also located on the side of the slide-out tray can be used to charge portable music devices.

The 5-button interface provides a source select button as well as CD operation controls such as play/pause, fast-forward, rewind and track forward/track reverse.

    Hi, Does this CD/ipod capable M&S device also have an am/fm receiver...if I have a 10 year old M&S model with radio and intercom...is it possible to add an mp3/ipod capability without buying a new unit? Also is it possible to connect an external device like CD player to the older M&S model I have by just using an RCA or other connector? Thanks. Ken

    A:

    You can use the RCA jacks on the back of the master to connect any type of external device.  You can use this audio plate and a pair for standard RCA cables to connect from the master to the device you want to use.

    Hi, I have a dmc3-4 master unit with retro fit trim which seems to look unfinished (because of the large frame at the bottom). Is it possible to add the cd-mp3 player without removing the housing and wiring from the master unit and make it look like one unit

    A:

    DMC3-4 master units can be designed to work with a DMCMP3/CD player.  A DMC1HC combo wall housing is required to work with both of these units as well as a DMCFC combination frame.

    I have u M&S intercom with raido installed in 2oo5 I need to add CD player and MP3 and USB cable is new intercom will fit on same box

    A:

    A model for the master station will be required to match up the correct CD player and system.  If the current model is a DMC series, this model will work, but will require a new wall housing and frame if there is not a current CD player.  Please call in for details if needed.  800-533-3249

The MP3/CD player is an upgrade to our system. Love playing my old CD's and hearing them thru out the house
