The M&S DMC4RSA Retrofit Indoor Room station is designed for use with the DMC3-4 Music/Communication Retrofit System Master and replaces older 4 wire intercom systems.
The DMC4RS communicates with the master station, door speakers and other room stations and features a remote scan function that allows the user to control the volume and power of the master unit's built-in AM/FM radio, remote scan of preset radio stations and change of source. It also has the ability to activate a security system's panic alarm or door release mechanism.
If replacing an old speaker the room station must use the DMCFR frame/mounting plate or a DMC1HR mounting ring when adding a new speaker.
