There is no longer a multi disc changer. M&S only offers a DMCMP3 which is a combo single disc CD player and iPod/MP3 docking system.

Have a M&S unit MC602 - CD player MCD6 burned out - is there an easy plug in replacement for the CD component ?

If you replace the CD player, you are also require the replace the master station. The new CD players are not the same size as the old ones. The new master stations are compatible with the existing room, door, and patio stations. You will need a DMC3-4 Master unit, a DMCMP3 CD/MP3 player, a new wall housing kit, and a retrofit update frame so there is no drywall or paint repair required.
