  If you are replacing a Nutone CT600, then this would be a direct replacement for your system.

  The best replacement model for this is a Eureka power nozzle.  No wands or hoses would be required to be changed.

  Will this replace a boran cv 315-b powerhead?

  This powerhead can replace your Broan CV-315B.  A lower wand will also be required to make the final connection to your hose.

  Would this work for a Beam Advocate model AP900. It is about 10 1/2 years old. System works great, the powerhead making some noises.

  A:

  This powerhead will not match up with your current wand set up.  In order to decide what powerhead may work, we need to know whether or not a cord is attached to the back of the powerhead and runs up the wands, or if when the wands are disconnected from the powerhead that the cord is attached to the wands.  Also, the plug that goes into the hose handle where sometimes a 2-prong and other times a 3-prong.  Once we know these two items, we can recommend a replacement for you.  Please call in to 800-533-3249 or email [email protected]

  I have a Kenmore powerhead will the Cen-Tec work my system

  A:

  The Centec CT14DXDQ powerhead will replace kenmore powerheads.  It will fit the existing Kenmore wands.  If new wands are needed, the best replacement items are the Hayden upper and lower wands.  These kit older style kenmore hoses.

  I have a stealth/Lindhaus PB14e. would this fit my hose?

  A:

  This powerhead would not fit your current want.  You can either get this powerhead with flush wands or go with a new stealth powerhead that you can call in to order.

  I have a NuTone Scovill powerhead Model 390N WIll this work with my system? or would I need any other tubes

  A:

  The 390's were air driven brush heads.  The Nutone electric brushes were 398's 598's or CT600's.  If the current carpet brush is air driven, then this wil not work for your system.  If the current carpet brush is electric, this may work but will need some additional wands.  It is best to call in to discuss this.  800-533-3249

  I have a Kenmore Central Vacuum power head Model # 3493591C. will this power head work for me?

  We do not have a cross reference for this powerhead model #, but it it looks similar only a different color, then it will work.  This is a replacement for many Kenmore and Hayden powerheads.

  I have a NuTone model CT 650 and need the power head replaced What is the best replacement power head for my central vacuum cleaner? It's about 17 years old. If it doesn't fit my hose then can it be returned?

  This CT14DX is the best replacement powerhead.  All existing wands will work fine.

  The old kenmores are identical to the CenTec CT14DX.  Panosonic is the original manufacturer and will fit your wand setup.

  I have a Beam Serenity Plus 2775 and need a new powerhead and wand. Is this the model to replace?

  The Beam 2775 is the model number of the powerhead.  This typically does not have any bearing on the central vacuum powerhead.  It is best to get the model number from the bottom of the powerhead and email [email protected] or call 800-533-3249.
