The Status Indicating Inlet is a UL approved assembly that has a built-in low voltage terminal. This allows direct connect hoses to plug right in without the need for an extension cord. When a switched hose is inserted into the inlet, the system is ready for immediate activation. When an unswitched hose is inserted, the system turns on automatically. The Status Indicating Electrified Inlet alerts you when the bag or pail of the power unit is full by working with status indicator hoses. The light on the hose, inlet and power unit will change color to remind you to service your unit.
The Status Indicating Inlet is used with the Nutone CV653, CV750, CV850 and VX Series power units. There is no extra wiring required for installation of this inlet. Installation does require a CI1395RK rough-in kit. The Status Indicating Electrified Inlet should be used with Nutone CH615 or CH620 direct connect hoses.
