The 045280 hard floor brush is a replacement for ones that have square necks.  These were included in select Beam, Electrolux, Honeywell and Eureka attachment kits.

This  bare floor brush has natural bristles which are suitable for cleaning all smooth floor surfaces including hardwood, tile, linoleum, concrete and more.  The 14 inch width makes cleaning a snap.  

Unlike powerheads or upright vacuums, the bristles agitate the smooth surface, dislodging particulate and allowing the air flow of the vacuum to remove it from the surface.  The swivel neck facilitates access in tight spaces.

    Beam will not give us any ETA's.  You can use the friction air adapter with a universal round neck floor brush
