The model 372 Nutone standard hose is of crushproof construction for long-lasting durability. This straight suction, non-powered hose is for use with non-electric tools. The bleeder valve on the handle allows the user to regulate the suction of the central vacuum unit providing accurate power levels for cleaning curtains, upholstery, smooth floors or carpeting. This hose turns on the vacuum unit when plugged into the wall.

    The hose adaptor on my hose is all metal. Does all Neutrone hoses fit the connector on the wall. Or is there more than one type of hose to wall adaptor?

    A:

    If your system does not have any type of electric beater bar, then the better option is the universal straight suction hose. The hose cuff for this has a full metal ring to make contact with your current inlets.  If your hose is electric with a pigtail cord for an electric beater brush, then a electric hose is better, but can vary based upon powerhead connections.  It is best to call in and discuss at that point in time.
