The 115334 motor is manufactured by Ametek Lamb Electric and was one of the most widely used prior to 2000, and is no longer used in current units.  This has a tangential discharge that allows the air to bypass the electrical components out through an exhaust horn, thereby extending the life of the motor.

  • Q:

    How do I remove the motor ? Three bolts are loose but motor will not move.

    A:

    Over time, the motors can stick tight to the metal can becasue of a rubber gasket that has melted slightly.  The motor just need to be pulled up or pryed slightly to remove.

    Are the ball bearings for the115334 motor available?

    A:

    We do not sell bearing for motors.  We have found that if the bearing have went bad, more then likely the armature and brushes and other motor parts are not good anymore.
