The Utility Inlet works with most hoses, with the exception of electrical direct connect hoses. This inlet is designed to be installed in locations near the power unit where the pipe is exposed such as a basement or a garage .
This inlet can fit directly into a fitting such as the Universal 90 degree Sweep Tee and Universal 45 degree Long Y. It is made of a durable plastic. The hinged door has a gasket that seals off the inlet when the door is closed to prevent loss of suction.
