The shag rake attachment is designed for cleaning carpet and rugs with long fibers.  Manufacturers may recommend against cleaning these floor coverings with a powerhead because the revolving brush can snag fibers and damage or remove them.  The shag rake attachment has 1” long plastic prongs that separate the long fibers, enabling air to pass into the carpet or rug and remove the debris.

The swivel neck facilitates access in tight spaces.  This attachment fits all standard 1 ¼” wands with or without buttons.

    Will this fit on a Dyson vacuum ?

    In order for this to fit a Dyson, different adapters would more then likely need to be used.  Typically, we would not recommend to use this part with any other vacuum but a central vacuum system.

    In order for this to fit a Dyson, different adapters would more then likely need to be used.  Typically, we would not recommend to use this part with any other vacuum but a central vacuum system.   It does not fit on the Dyson wands.  Inside diameter is not large enough.

    The opening in the neck of the attachment is 1 1/4".  We are not sure of te diameter of the NEN100A.

    A:

    The neck of this head can receive a wand with 1 1/8" to 1 1/4" outside diameter.  Dyson has made different adapters in the past, but they have had different sizes over the years.  We do not have one at the moment.  Dyson does not make any type of shag rake attachment.

    It will depend on the wand.  The shag rake tool fits on the 1 1/4" wands (outside diameter).
