This deluxe combination rug and floor tool is designed for cleaning smooth floors, carpet and rugs with a short nap.  A lever on the attachment is depressed to move the brush down for smooth floors or up for carpet and rugs.  The stiff nylon bristles provide for excellent cleaning of smooth surfaces and won't scratch hardwood floors and other delicate surfaces. 

Ideal applications for combo rug/floor tool are areas where there are both suitable hard surfaces and short nap carpet or rugs that requires light cleaning, and a single attachment is desired. Often, better cleaning can be achieved by using a powerhead for carpet and rugs and a floor brush for smooth floors.

The swivel neck facilitates access in tight spaces.  This attachment fits all standard 1 ¼” wands with or without buttons.

    How is this attachment energized? The hose I have the power is through the vacuum outlet. It doesn't need separate outlet.

    This attachment works of of suction only.  In order to use an electric beater brush, please see our electric powerheads.  There are multiple options.  Please call or email with any questions.

    Will this carpet tool adapt to my central vacuum model #350?My vacuum is 38 years old.

    A:

    The 350 is typically a model number of the Nutone power unit.  These do not have any bearing on attachments.  This tool will fit on all 1 1/4" wands and hold in place by friction.
