The NuTone PP600 hybrid central vacuum power unit is no longer available.  It has been replaced by the PP6501 model.

The PP600 combines powerful suction and unmatched filtration to remove dust and other allergens from your home. This series is among the quietest in the industry for peaceful cleaning with sound-absorbing materials, a rigid structure, and anti-vibration mounts. The multi-direction vacuum inlet and wall mount supports allow for easy installation even in small spaces, and a six foot power cord for even more convenience.

The NuTone PP600 has a metal housing with a polymeric debris pail that features large ergonomic latches to make emptying your central vacuum easier. This unit features flex collect debris disposal offering a hybrid solution for bagged or bagless in one unit, so if you run out of vacuum bags simply switch modes and continue vacuuming. The sealed HEPA technology captures the debris while vacuuming, and drops down when you're done for self-cleaning.  This also has glued seams to optimize efficiency of the HEPA membrane to ensure maximum dust retention versus standard HEPA filters.

    What is the CFM on the PP600 ?

    A:

    Currently Nutone only provides the Air Watts at 600 and the Water Lift at 125".  They do not have any printed specifications on CFM.  If we find anything in the future, we will post the information of this product.

    It can, but that feature us normally dictated by the hose that you use.

    Where is Nutone vac made?

    A:

    Overseas.  If you want an American Made vac, please check out the Valet central vacs made by Lindsay Manufacturing out of Oklahoma.  The ATQ-300 and 1500 has the best motor in the industry.  The 120 and 180 are also popular.

Too early to tell. Has strong suction and is working well at this point. This replaces the Broan unit which burned out after 22 years :)
