The Retro Room/Patio Vertical Adaptor and Trim Plate are to be used with the Intrasonic Retro-M intercom systems. The RETRO-5RH allows a room or patio station to be installed into the existing rough-in. This horizontal adaptor and trim plate cover the larger hole from the old unit, eliminating the need for drywall patching.

    The rough opening in my dry wall is 8x11. Will this product cover the hole? The specs say the product is approx. 7x10, but is that the size of the cover or the plate? Thanks in advance.

    A:

    The RETRO-5RH will not cover a cut-out that is 8 x 11.  You need the RETRO-8AT instead.
